A Multi-Layered, Proactive Security Framework
Your safety is our constant priority. A visible 24/7 security presence, modern CCTV coverage, and controlled access points keep the campus secure day and night. Our trained officers aren’t just responders — they’re partners in prevention, conducting routine audits and emergency drills so the community stays alert and prepared.
- True safety means protecting people as well as property. The Community Care Office leads programs in conflict resolution, anti-harassment advocacy, and restorative dialogue. By addressing the human dimensions of security — trust, respect, and accountability — we strengthen our campus from within.
Professional security teams patrol the campus round the clock and monitor CCTV networks. Controlled entry points for residences and academic buildings ensure a safe learning environment.
Report any concern — from maintenance hazards to harassment — through our anonymous hotline or digital portal. Every report is acknowledged and investigated promptly and discreetly.
Semester-based fire, evacuation, and lockdown drills build readiness and confidence. Our goal: calm, coordinated response in any situation.
Security, Health & Wellbeing, and Student Affairs staff collaborate as a single unit to handle crises with speed, care, and ongoing follow-up support.
Our office offers safe reporting for discrimination or harassment, facilitates mediation in conflicts, and educates students about their rights and responsibilities under the Student Code of Conduct.

Safety at Goshen is a network of care. Security officers, Resident Assistants, Counsellors, and Peer Mentors work as a coordinated team to identify and address issues early. From escorts and wellness referrals to conflict mediation, students receive the right help at the right time — in an environment of trust and confidentiality.
